BRTC Awards Clay County Electric Cooperative Corp. Membership Scholarship

Misty LaDawn Martin of Malden, Mo. has accepted the Clay County Electric Cooperative Corp. Member Scholarship made possible by funding from the Clay County Electric Cooperative Corporation.

Martin is a 2023 graduate of Black River Technical College’s GED program. She is married to Jason Martin, and the pair share two children, Eden and Jase. Martin is seeking a degree in early childhood education.

The Clay County Electric Cooperative Corp. Member Scholarship is an annual Proventus/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament scholarship. Each golf scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and GPA requirements.
