Black River Technical College (BRTC) Business instructors and students recently attended the 3rd Annual Faith and Business Symposium hosted at Crowley’s Ridge College (CRC).

During the event students were provided several networking opportunities with area businesses, as well as a chance to listen to three guest speakers representing careers in healthcare management, banking, and small business ownership.

“As a student, attending the symposium was a great experience,” Cami Alexander, business administration student and BRTC Human Resources Assistant, said. “Hearing from professionals about their journey to leadership and success, and how their faith played a role in that, was inspiring.”

BRTC’s Business program has six focuses for student to choose from and are available as a certificate of proficiency, a technical certificate, and an associate degree. Student may also choose to take courses to earn an Associate of Science in Business and transfer that degree to a 4-year university to continue their business studies.
