Black River Technical College (BRTC) English Instructor and Department Head Lisa Inman of Jonesboro will serve at the Spring 2025 commencement keynote speaker.
Inman received her Master’s degree in English at Arkansas State University. Before arriving at BRTC in 2008, Inman previously taught at Arkansas State as an adjunct instructor and served as a creative writing assistant for ASU Regional Programs.
At BRTC, she has co-founded events including BRTC’s Day of Caring, BRTC’s Got Talent, and the BRTC English Club. Her committee work has included program review, assessment, and the plagiarism task force.
Commencement will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 in the Randolph County Development Center. The event is free and open to the public. Photos of the event will be posted by the end of the following week on BRTC’s Flickr account.
