BRTC Allied Health CTC Hosts Travelling Nurses as Guest Speakers

Black River Technical College (BRTC) Career and Technical Center (CTC) allied Health department recently hosted guest speakers, traveling nurses Rhonda Difani and Sally Crawford at both BRTC locations, Paragould and Pocahontas.

Difani and Crawford are both BRTC alumni. Difani graduated from the BRTC Phlebotomy program in 2007, the BRTC Practical Nursing program in 2008, and earned a Registered Nursing Associates degree in 2009. She also obtained a long-term Administration license in 2015.

Crawford earned a Practical Nursing degree from BRTC in 2007 and then a Registered Nursing Associates degree in 2008.

Both shared their experiences with the CTC students of traveling throughout the United States as contract nurses as well as their experiences working through the pandemic.

“These ladies were incredible! Made me want to be a nurse even more,” said Piggott High School and BRTC CTC student Autumn Covert, “I loved, loved all the stories they told us about their adventures, and their lives. I couldn\’t ask for better speakers!”
