Black River Technical College Mourns the Loss of a Student and Starts a New Tradition

BRTC\’s Collegiate Flag at Half-Staff

POCAHONTAS, AR, Sept. 2. Black River Technical College is mourning the loss of Will Fraley, welding student and son of History Instructor, Dianna Fraley. 

Martin Eggensperger, President, declared, “As a mark of respect for the memory of Black River Technical College student, Will Fraley, of Couch, Missouri, I hereby direct, by the authority vested in me by the Board of Trustees, that the collegiate flags shall be flown at half-staff at all Black River Technical Buildings and grounds through September 4, 2020.”

On Monday, August 31, the president’s cabinet agreed that the collegiate flags will be flown at half-staff to honor any current student’s, faculty member’s, staff member’s, or board member’s passing.
