Adjuncts Technical Faculty Positions

Black River Technical College is accepting applications for the following adjunct technical faculty positions:

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICITY/ELECTRONICS

The person filling this position will be responsible for course and laboratory instruction in the Industrial Electricity/Electronics department at Black River Technical College at the BRTC Armory location in Piggott.  Applicants will be working with both college and high school students as part of BRTC’s Career and Technical Center.

Position is for Piggott.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must have as a minimum an Associate degree; a Bachelor of Science is preferred. The candidate should have work experience in an electrical or closely related occupation. Teaching experience is also preferred.  Candidates with any of the following will be given preference:  Electrician Licensure; Teaching experience, OSHA trainer certification.

WELDING TECHNOLOGY

The person filling this position will be responsible for course and laboratory instruction in the welding department at Black River Technical College.  Applicants will be working with both college and high school students as part of BRTC’s Career and Technical Center.

Position is for Piggott

QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must have as a minimum an Associate degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The candidate should possess welding certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS); inspector certification preferred.  Additional certification from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in welding is also desirable.  Candidates with any of the following will be given preference:  Teaching experience, OSHA trainer certification.
