A Little Golden Book Junk Journal Workshop – Paragould

A Little Golden Book Junk Journal is a handmade, repurposed journal created from a vintage Little Golden Book. It blends nostalgia with creativity, turning old children’s books into unique journals for writing, scrapbooking, or memory-keeping.
What is a Little Golden Book Junk Journal?
- The Cover: The original book cover is usually kept intact, giving it a whimsical, nostalgic feel.
- The Pages: Some of the book’s original pages are mixed in with blank, scrapbook, or decorative pages.
- Junk Journal Elements: Pockets, tags, envelopes, fabric, lace, and other embellishments are added.
- Binding: The book may be rebound using rings, a hidden spine, or stitching to allow for expansion.
Workshop Overview:
