Black River Technical College (BRTC) was honored to host Lance Waring, Human Resources Director at NEA Baptist Memorial, on September 30.

Vice President of Student Affairs Jason Smith shared that having representatives from major regional employers like NEA Baptist visit BRTC is critical to creating real workforce pipelines for the college's allied health students.

"Our goal is to ensure that students graduate not only with strong academic training but also with clear pathways into high-demand careers," Smith said. "Partnerships like this directly benefit both our students and the communities we serve."

By strengthening connections with BRTC, NEA Baptist is helping to ensure that the next generation of healthcare professionals is prepared to meet the evolving needs of Northeast Arkansas.
