Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for Auto Collision Technology Instructor. This is a full time nine-month contract position beginning August 11, 2025.
This position will be teaching courses in structural and non-structural repair, refinishing, and damage analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience, a commitment to student success, and a desire to contribute to a high-quality technical education program.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Auto Collision Technology courses in lecture and hands-on lab settings
- Maintain a safe, organized, and industry-standard learning environment
- Develop and revise curriculum to align with ASE/NATEF standards
- Advise and mentor students pursuing careers in collision repair
- Support program accreditation and participate in department initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Auto Collision Technology or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching or training experience in an educational or professional setting
- Current ASE certifications (Collision Repair & Refinishing preferred)
- Knowledge of ASE/NATEF (ASE Education Foundation) certification standards
- 3+ years of recent, relevant auto collision industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
