Black River Technical College’s (BRTC) Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter recently hosted a food drive on PTK Awareness Day for the BRTC food pantry. They accepted food items and hygiene products at both Pocahontas and Paragould locations and each person who donated was entered into a drawing for a $25 BRTC Bookstore gift card.

The winner of the gift card at the Pocahontas campus was Coretta Malone and the winner at the Paragould campus was Susanna Bischof.

PTK is an honor society for students of associate degree-granting colleges. It is recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges and has more than 3.5 million members in 10 countries around the globe. It is the only honor society at BRTC and includes members from any major or program.
