Kate Whitlow of Pocahontas has been awarded the Karla Baltz, DDS Scholarship.

Whitlow is a 2024 graduate. She is the daughter of Dena and Scott Whitlow. Whitlow is seeking a degree in nursing.

The Karla Baltz, DDS Scholarship funded by Karla Baltz, DDS is made possible through the 2023 BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament headlined by Proventus. The $1,000 scholarship package enables donors to offer a $1,000 scholarship to a student the following fall. The BRTC Foundation matches the donor’s $1,000 scholarship with another $1,000 which is given in the donor’s name the following spring.
