Stryker at Inaugural Mascot Roundup

PARAGOULD, AR Mar. 22 –Stryker, Black River Technical College’s mascot, participated in the Inaugural Mascot Roundup organized by the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Mascot Roundup was a part of the 15^th Annual Chamber Showcase, where Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce members showcase the products and services their businesses offer the public.

BRTC set up a booth at the event to promote both the academic programs and workforce training offered at the college, and Stryker competed in the mascot games. Neal Harwell, Director of Student Development, states, “We are proud that Stryker was able to participate in the Inaugural Mascot Roundup. He had a great time competing against other mascots in a challenging obstacle course. Stryker has started preparing for next year’s event.”
