This 14-week online Pharmacy Technician course will prepare students to enter the field of Pharmacy and to pursue national certification. The need for Pharmacy Technicians continues to grow with demand expected to increase substantially through 2020. Approximately 420,000 technicians were employed in 2018. Employment of Pharmacy Technicians has 7% growth projections each year through 2028. Students will learn Pharmacy Calculations, medical terminology, skills necessary to read and interpret prescriptions, review of the top 100 drugs, and the skill necessary to identify drugs by brand and generic names. Class begins July 12 – October 17, 2021. Registration Fee: $650
