BRTC Promotes Voting in the 2020 Election

PARAGOULD, AR. Nov. 20–Dr. Dianna Fraley, Black River Technical College history instructor, and students in her World Civilizations since 1500 class created and posted a banner, encouraging students to vote in the 2020 election that was held on November 3, 2020. Students were invited to sign the banner after their ballot was cast.

Students participating in the project were Aspen Mattox, Allison Wilbanks, Joshua Thomas, and Chris Payne. Dr. Fraley states, \”Voting is vital to the democratic process and an important aspect of citizenry.  Your vote helps shape governmental policies and the direction of the nation. Voting is a privilege, right, and responsibility that all Americans should embrace.
