Join BRTC\’s First Social Media Campaign: #BRTCshoplocal

BRTC is excited to announce the 2019-2020 Student Discount social media campaign.  Every year Black River Technical College partners with local businesses from Clay, Greene, Lawrence, and Randolph counties to offer discounts to students and faculty at participating locations.

The purpose of the campaign is to benefit local businesses and participants. To take part in this year’s campaign one must share a photo of a participating business on Facebook or Instagram, tag @Blackrivertc in the post, and use the hashtag #BRTCshoplocal.  The campaign began September 9 and will run through September 30.

Four students will be drawn at random and businesses with the most check-ins using the hashtag #BRTCshoplocal will be drawn on October 1^st. Student winners will receive an exclusive BRTC Tech Accessory Package. The winning businesses will receive free advertising on BRTC’s social media platforms and webpage to represent them as proud supporters of the college.
