Joy of Painting

If Bob Ross’ name and painting style sound familiar, this class is one you will want to take.  The Community Education Department of Black River Technical College is currently taking registration for a Joy of Painting class taught by Brenda Lawrence, a certified Bob Ross Art instructor.  Participants will learn the wet-on-wet style of oil painting made popular by the late, celebrity painter, Bob Ross, and create a beautiful country scene, including a rustic barn, colorful trees, and a beautiful sky on a 16 x 20” canvas.  Take this opportunity to spend a relaxing and enjoyable day with others who appreciate the art of painting.  All canvas, brushes, paints, and other supplies will be provided.  This one-day class will be held on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the BRTC Pocahontas Campus.  Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 21, or until class is full.
