Microsoft Publisher 2013 for Small Businesses

Could your marketing materials use a little sprucing up?  Do you lack the technical skills to make your own advertisement?  Start creating your own advertising materials with Microsoft Publisher 2013.  The Corporate & Community Education Department of Black River Technical College is offering Microsoft Publisher 2013 for Small Businesses.  Participants will be introduced to creating colorful publications by working with text, graphic objects and graphic images, and layouts using modern design techniques.  Learn how to make letterhead, business cards, flyers, and newspaper advertisements with coupons.  Flash drives and lunch will be provided.  This training, in partnership with Winrock International and the Arkansas Women’s Business Center, is being offered at no charge due to a grant received from the United States Department of Agriculture.  Microsoft Publisher 2013 for Small Businesses will be held at Black River Technical College, Pocahontas campus, on Friday, August 28, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Register at the Continuing Education Building, located on the BRTC Pocahontas Campus, College Drive, Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  For additional information or registration:  Call (870) 248-4180, e-mail zebulon.blansett@blackrivertech.edu, or visit our website at www.blackrivertech.edu/community/cce and click on Pocahontas Campus.  Deadline for registration is Tuesday, August 25, or until class is full.
