Course Description:
Introduction to the fundamentals of digital photography. Students will learn camera features, how to transfer images to storage media, image composition and Photoshop manipulation of digital photographs.
Topics to be Covered:
- Camera Features: Camera modes, shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed, white balance, image size and quality
- Lighting & Image Composition
- Photoshop: Cropping, perspective straightening, repair wrinkles, blemishes, eye/teeth whitening, red-eye removal, text and collaging
When: Fridays, February 3 – March 9, 9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon
