Walnut Ridge High School Concurrent Students Visit BRTC Campus

Even though BRTC has over 500 concurrent students this fall, they often do not have the chance to look around campus or visit with departments other than those near the classes.   On September 13, Walnut Ridge High School concurrent students visited the Paragould campus and had a tour.

Concurrent students receive a half tuition discount.  Again for the 2022-23 year, high school juniors and seniors can enroll in 2 endorsed concurrent enrollment credit courses per semester and the Arkansas Challenge Concurrent Scholarship will cover all tuition at BRTC.

Concurrent education is available to any high school student who has completed the 8th grade, is enrolled in an Arkansas high school, and is recommended by their high school principal, superintendent, or counselor.  The 15 local high schools participating in BRTC’s concurrent program are Brookland, Corning, Greene County Tech, Hillcrest, Hoxie, Marmaduke, Maynard, Paragould, Piggott, Pocahontas, Rector, Sloan-Hendrix, Valley View, Walnut Ridge, and the Arkansas Virtual Academy.
