Small Engine Repair

Keep your small engines humming along for years to come. Learn not only how to repair these types of equipment, but how to maintain them.

Participants who attend this training will: Learn how to troubleshoot, gain a basic understanding of service and repair, learn about small engine theory, and complete a project by failure analysis.

Participants are required to bring their own damaged small engine (push mower, weed eater, or tiller) to use for hands-on experience. Participants will also need to bring a small socket set (1/4\” drive), flat head and Phillips screwdrivers, a small wrench set and a flashlight.

This three-week course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 4 – 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the BRTC Pocahontas Campus. Register at the Continuing Education Building, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. the deadline to register is Friday, August 31.
