Mark Mosier Speaks at JPD’s Academy

POCAHONTAS, AR. Sept. 24. Mark Mosier, law enforcement instructor at Black River Technical College, was the guest speaker at the Jonesboro Police Department’s in-house police academy on August 21, 2020. Mosier spoke to the academy’s 4th class about “Preparation and Opportunity” as they pertain to their fields.  After Mosier spoke, four JDP officers were recognized for graduating from BRTC’s Law Enforcement Training Academy’s Class 20-A. 

The Black River Technical College Law Enforcement Training Academy has been in operation since 1999. The BRTC’s LETA provides basic as well as advanced training for officers across Arkansas.  Graduates receive a Certificate of Proficiency from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and CLEST Certification.
