Family History Workshop

Presented by Cindy Robinett, Local Historian and descendant of Reuben Rice.  The Family History Workshop is for descendants and individuals who are interested in learning about the family histories associated with the Rice-Upshaw House, built in 1828, and the Looney Tavern, built in 1833.  Both structures are located near Dalton in northwest Randolph County.

There is no charge for this workshop but participants will need to register as space is limited. The workshop will be held on Friday, September 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
