Fall 2019 Nielsen Bainbridge Group Scholarship Recipient Announced

The 2018 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC.  Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.

Makenna Speer of Rector has received the Nielsen Bainbridge Group Scholarship made possible by funding from Nielsen Bainbridge Group.  Speer is a 2019 graduate of Rector High School and is the daughter of Stephen and Angel Speer.  She is seeking a career as a Veterinary Technician.
