Dr. Brad Baine Speaking at Paragould Rotary Club

PARAGOULD, AR. Oct. 8. –  On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Dr. Brad Baine, Vice President of Academic Affairs, spoke at the Paragould Rotary Club’s weekly luncheon.

Dr. Baine shared some of the exciting things that are happening at the college and also discussed some of the challenges BRTC is facing. He provided a list of the programs and degrees offered at each campus as well as at the AMMC site. 

At the end of his presentation, Dr. Baine explained that BRTC has adopted a new mascot, the Black Hawk, how the mascot was adopted and funded, and showed the mascot reveal videos to the group. 

Baine states, “I am grateful for the opportunity to share the current status and exciting initiatives for Black River Technical College (BRTC), as well as the strategies implemented by BRTC as we navigate these challenging times.  BRTC is fortunate to have the considerable support from the communities we serve in, such as educational partners from business, industry, and organizations, like Rotary.  All the support provided to BRTC allows us the resources we need to transform the lives of our students. BRTC stands ready to serve and be an asset to our surrounding communities.”
