“Money Talks, We Translate” is the latest exhibit in the BRTC student-led mini-museum Cabinet of Curiosities on the Paragould campus.

Dr. Dianna Fraley’s U.S. History Since 1876 class and World Civ to 1660 class participated in curating the exhibit. The exhibit includes Canadian money, Mexican pesos, Middle Eastern dinars, former Soviet Union rubles, and more.

“Money is something everyone can relate to regardless of culture or country. The students were really excited to share their currency pieces from all over the world for our exhibit,” said Fraley. “These two classes were great to work with and were really engaged with the topic they chose for the exhibit – Money.”

The exhibit will run through April 25 and is free and open to the public during campus hours. The exhibit was made possible by a grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
