BRTC Representatives Serve as Panelists for Congressman Rick Crawford’s PACE Event

BRTC President Martin Eggensperger participates in Q&A Panel

Black River Technical College (BRTC) President Martin Eggensperger and BRTC Foundation Member Graycen Bigger were panelists Monday at Rick Crawford’s PACE (Preparing and Advancing Career Education) in the Cooper Alumni Center on the Arkansas State University-Jonesboro campus.

The event brought together industry representatives, two-year colleges, and economic development professionals to discuss creative ways to build workforce partnerships within the classroom.

The program consisted of speakers and panelists from the Arkansas Department of Career and Technical Education, Arkansas Workforce Development, presidents representing four of the first congressional district’s two-year colleges, and representatives from major industry such as Hytrol, Big River Steel, Nucor, Anchor Packaging, Riceland, Trinity and Axis.

Eggensperger participated in a question and answer panel for two-year colleges. Bigger spoke to guests as Executive Director of Northeast Arkansas Intermodal Authority.
