BRTC LPN Program Named best Arkansas LPN Program

According to PracticalNursing.org, BRTC\’s Practical Nursing (LPN) program has been named the best of 27 LPN program in Arkansas.

PracticalNursing.org compares 5 years worth of a nursing program’s graduates’ pass rate on the national nursing exam required for licensure, the NCLEX-PN, and also considers the recency of a programs’ exam scores.

“I am very proud of our program and faculty,” said LPN Director Tonya Hankins. “Our program quality is high because we have high quality faculty. While they are only required to hold an associate degree, all BRTC nursing faculty have at least a bachelor while 3 have masters degrees.”

PracticalNursing.org lists practical nursing programs across the United States and evaluates their quality. According to the website, “we believe providing students with better transparency in regards to practical and vocational nursing programs throughout their state allows them to better match the right school accessible to them. This is the reason we have developed our LPN & LVN Programs Ranking based on NCLEX-PN exam passing rates.”
