POCAHONTAS, AR Sept. 20— Mark Mosier, Black River Technical College Law Enforcement Instructor, recently led his Crowley’s Ridge Ruck Club to complete a 24-hour GORUCK Event.

The event, Cloverleaf 24, commemorated the 69th anniversary of the United States Army Special Forces. Participants completed 6 hero workouts each followed by a Ruck, a hike with a weighted backpack, every four hours.

Seventeen participants started the event and 5 completed all 6 hero workouts and all 29 miles. Mosier was among the 5 completers. Mosier expressed how honored he was to have been a part of the event by stating, “I was surrounded by great people throughout this event and fed off their energy to complete it. I encourage whoever needs to hear it to get outside or get in the gym and get active. Exercise is the best medicine for your mind and body. It is amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it.”
