BRTC Holds Spring 2024 RN Pinning & Graduation

Black River Technical College (BRTC) held its Spring 2024 registered nursing graduation and pinning ceremony on Tuesday, May 7 in the Randolph County Development Center.

BRTC celebrated the graduation of 20 students who earned an Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing. The opening prayer was given by Lakyn Phares.  The class spokesperson was the class President Allison Dunivan. Heather Fletcher sang “Go Light Your World” and the final benediction was given by Cade Nelson.

Awards were given out by the nursing faculty. Madison Mitchell was awarded three awards; Highest Average in Theory I, Theory II, and Theory III. The Florence Nightingale Award was awarded to Hannah Birdsong.

An Outstanding Preceptor award was given to Peyton Dale from the NEA Baptist ICU for being instrumental in the teaching of the RN students during clinicals.
