BRTC Holds Spring 2024 Respiratory Care Pinning & Graduation

Black River Technical College (BRTC) held its Spring 2024 respiratory care graduation and pinning ceremony on Thursday, April 25 in the Randolph County Development Center.

BRTC celebrated the graduation of nine students who earned an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care. The class spokesperson was Class President Hannah Willbanks. A student-made slideshow was played showing highlights of the students’ journey through the respiratory program.

Awards were given out by the respiratory faculty. Bridget McNatt was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement award and Mary Lou Curtis was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Achievement award.

An Outstanding Preceptor award was given to Maddie McLaughlin at St. Bernard’s Medical Center for being instrumental in the teaching of respiratory students during clinicals. The graduation ended with the new graduates reading the respiratory care pledge.
