BRTC Day of Caring Gives Toys to More than 200 Children of BRTC Students

On December 14, more than 200 children of 56 BRTC students received toys and gifts for Christmas when BRTC faculty and staff on the Paragould campus set up the first Day of Caring for all BRTC students.

Students who needed to put something under the tree for their children were invited to participate in a fun-filled morning where they received toys and winter wear for their children.  In addition, a pre-lit Christmas tree and a bicycle was given away.

Over 300 of toys were purchased with money from the BRTC Student Government Association (SGA) to help BRTC students and their families.

Heather Roberts won the pre-lit Christmas tree and Whitney Rodgers won the bicycle.

Donations were provided by LA Darling Fixtures, First National Bank of Paragould, BRTC SGA, and Allen and Priscilla Stillwell.
