BRTC Awards the HARPS Foods Scholarship for Fall 2020

POCAHONTAS, AR July 27, 2020 –  Destiny Burdin of Paragould has received the HARPS Foods Scholarship made possible by funding from Harps Foods.  Burdin is a 2020 Paragould High School graduate and the daughter of Scotty and Darla Burdin.  She is seeking an Associate of Applied Science in General Technology, Health Professions POCAHONTAS, AR July 15, 2020 –  Nursing.

The HARPS Foods Scholarship is a 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarship.  The 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC.  Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
