Logan Sain of Walnut Ridge has been awarded the Don’s Steakhouse in Memory of Fredia Finch, Don and Pauline Rorex Scholarship, made possible by funding from Don’s Steakhouse in Pocahontas.
Sain is a 2023 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. He plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Physical Education.
The Don’s Steakhouse Scholarship is an annual Novaria/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarship. Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who can name the scholarship. The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and GPA requirements.
