22nd Golf Tournament Set for October 2

The 22^nd Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 2, at Rolling Hills Country Club in Pocahontas.

This two-person scramble, underwritten and supported by IBERIABANK, is the largest fundraising event for BRTC, providing funding for student scholarships.  “The BRTC Foundation especially appreciates the outstanding support of our sponsors,” said Kelly Rose, Chair of the Foundation.  “For more than 20 years, our sponsors have made this event a great financial success thereby enabling the Foundation to grow its support of scholarships and to fulfill our role in supporting the mission of Black River Technical College.”

Four-star, three-star, two-star, and one-star sponsorships with signage are available at $1,000, $500, $250, and $125.  Four-star and three-star sponsorships include one team entry fee and golf cart as well as the option of having a promotional tent along the fairway.

The four-star, $1,000 sponsorship includes a scholarship naming opportunity.  The sponsor at this level will be able to name the scholarship awarded to a BRTC student for the 2016-2017 academic year.  The scholarship will actually be in the amount of $2,000, awarded $1,000 each semester, fall and spring.
