Sissy Gray, Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness
POCAHONTAS, AR Oct. 18—Sissy Gray, BRTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, is serving on the Higher Learning Commission’s (HLC) Annual Conference Advisory Committee.
Gray was nominated by her peers and/or HLC staff to serve on the committee, and then she was selected to serve by members of the HLC Annual Conference Planning Committee.
The Annual Conference Advisory Committee “is tasked with assisting HLC staff in the development of a meaningful and comprehensive Annual Conference General Program.” Gray’s primary role will be to review and score conference proposals to assist in the selection of conference presentations.
Gray explains that she is honored to serve on this by stating, “I was pleasantly surprised to learn I had been nominated to serve on this committee, and I am delighted to represent BRTC in this capacity.” Her term began in September 2021 and will end in September 2023.
