Black River Technical College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Its programs have been approved by the Arkansas Division of  Higher Education and by the State Board of Vocational Education.  Some of the college’s programs are also accredited by different agencies, as reflected in the program descriptions.

Black River Technical College is required by Federal regulations to disclose whether its degree programs meet the United States jurisdictions’ educational requirements for licensure (34 CFR 668.43(a)(6) & 34 CFR 668.72(n)).
