Remington Cobble of Minturn has accepted the Overman Buildings Scholarship, made possible by funding from Overman Buildings of Pocahontas.
Cobble is a 2023 graduate of Sloan Hendrix High School. She plans to become a pediatric occupational therapist assistant and is the daughter of Michael Cobble.
The Overman Buildings Scholarship is an annual Novaria/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarship. Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship. The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and GPA requirements.
