BRTC CTC Hosts Allied Health Guest Speaker

Arkansas State University Assistant Professor of Clinical Laboratory Sciences Dr. Audrey Folsom speaks to BRTC CTC students about ASU’s clinical laboratory sciences program

Black River Technical College (BRTC) Career and Technical Center (CTC) recently hosted Arkansas State University Assistant Professor of Clinical Laboratory Sciences Dr. Audrey Folsom as a guest speaker.

Folsom visited with the students about the clinical laboratory sciences program that includes both an Associate’s and Bachelor’s level degree.

“Most of the students were not aware of this career pathway, which is a step up from the Phlebotomy program many of them are currently enrolled in at BRTC,” said Director of Career, Technical and Concurrent Education Darenda Kersey.
